Sandbach is a Market Town located on the east side of the county of Cheshire and dates back to Anglo Saxon Times. Evidence can be found in the cobbled squares of the Saxon Crosses as a point of interest. It has excellent transport links, is in close proximity of junction 17 of the M6 and boasts a mainline train station.

Things to do

For the fitness conscious there are a number of small private gyms and the municipal gym located on Middlewich Road along with the swimming pool. Sandbach also plays host to a number of sporting clubs with both Sandbach and Elworth cricket clubs, sandbach United football team located on Hind Heath Road and Sandbach Rugby Club with its designated club house and grounds.

For those not fancying anything quite as energetic you can take a stroll along Salt Line Way or along the tow path of the Trent and Mersey Canal. And for the children a trip to Wheelock Farm would fit the bill. Just a short drive away there are a number of National Trust places to visit including Little Moreton Hall and Biddulph Grange Gardens.

There is a warm and welcoming community within Sandbach with an indoor and outdoor market held every Thursday and Saturday in addition to this the market square plays host to the makers market every 2nd Saturday of the month. We are also proud to be sponsors of Sandbach United FC who have a variety of teams across varying age groups that play a huge part in the growth and development of the younger generation within Sandbach. When it comes to schooling within Sandbach there are separate schools available for both Girls and Boys with Sandbach School providing schooling to Boys aged 11 to 19 and Sandbach High School and Sixth Form College providing education to Girls aged 11 to 18. Sandbach town centre benefits from a number of fantastic bars and restaurants and boasting most cuisines from British with the Wheatsheaf hotel and The Old Hall with its Tudor façade to Italian with Raffaeles, Thai with Phantong to Cuban and Cubar… the list is endless, along with the fabulous Bar Six, DV8 and The Cobbles.

If it is a cup of tea and a slice of cake there are a number of tea rooms such as Jenny’s Tea Rooms adjacent to the office.
