An article has been published on Property Industry eye today which is indicating that the number of homes being advertised as for sale has risen for the first time in 12 months.

In the article, it states that

“RICS said there was an 8% rise in the volume of respondents reporting a rise in the volume of fresh listings coming onto the sales market last month. New buyer enquiries also rose in March month-on-month with 9% of respondents reporting an increase.”

These two numbers have not been this closely in line with each other since before the pandemic.

This is bringing good news to the property market as an increase in housing stock means that there are more properties on offer for those who wish to move and need to buy as part of their chain.
